Goodbye Summer, Hello Preschool
Mrs. Richards notes that her Pre-K students are enjoying their time at school as much as she is. Their September theme is “All About Me”; they’re identifying how we are all alike, how we are all different, and how we are ALL special. The Pre-K children are looking forward to “Show and Tell” on Fridays, learning about Autumn and taking field trips in October. Mrs. Strojin’s Multi-Age classes are beginning the year learning about families, the colors red and blue, and the letters A, B and C. The Extended Day group will be studying Spanish this year, and enjoying cooking projects on Mondays. Anybody have no-bake recipes to share? Please send them to Mrs. Strojin. One highlight of early October for both classes is naturalist Carol Ward’s first visit. She’ll be coming the first Wednesday of each month to share interesting facts and projects about nature with the children.
