Mrs. Cathy Richards

Mrs. Richards is the South Euclid Cooperative Preschool’s director and has been teaching at the SECOOP since 2006. Her children went to preschool here and she also served as a board member.

Mrs. Richards has a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and has a master’s degree in Early Childhood Education, specializing in curriculum and instruction.

Mrs. Richards also spent 5 years teaching first grade. She is certified in Adult/Child CPR, AED and first aid. She is also trained to recognize signs of child abuse and communicable diseases.

Two-Day and Three-Day Classes

Mrs. Michela Stupay

Mrs. Stupay has a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education. She has taught pre-K, first and second grades.

Mrs. Stupay believes that children learn the best through the act of play, appropriate role modeling and the manipulation of appropriate objects. She also believes in guided and independent learning activities.

Mrs. Stupay hopes to instill a sense of teamwork, as well as balance. Each child is unique and she works to recognize where they are in their individual development and encourage them to move forward.
